Some keys to good site architecture are an aresting landing page, intuitive navigation, audience separation, targeted messaging, good search engine optimization fundamentals, and strong calls to action throughout.

The images on the landing page should be your best work. This is where you have an opportunity to connect visually and emotionally with the visitor — but only for 3 to 5 seconds while the user decides to stay or click you away.

Different audiences require different messaging. Your site and your messaging should be organized around these audiences and visitors funneled to appropriate pages/messaging depending on which audience they’re a part of.
