HandPickedTomatoes.com was founded by me, Stephen Kane. I live in Irvine, CA with my wife and family and have over twenty years experience in business information technology, including stints at global software
leader SAP (SAP AG-NYSE) and Sperry Univac (Unisys UIS-NYSE).
In the past, I built a successful web business focused on the development and marketing of commercial websites and the integration of ecommerce applications into back end logistics and accounting systems.
As an applications consultant for SAP, I led project teams in the implementation of SAP R/3 software for several Fortune 500 clients, including Weyerhaeuser (WA), Allison Transmissions (IN), Karl Storz Endoscopy-America (Culver City, CA), Georg Fischer Systems (Irvine, CA) and others.
These days my job is looking for a job. Just recently, I was a solutions architect with topLingo Development, Inc., a leading web development company based in Irvine, California, until the economy of 2009 caught up to them and me.
